Delegate Assembly is a meeting with IFO delegates from our 7 Minnstate Universities where we discuss potential contract languages and goals for our union.

Become a Delegate
We are allowed 28 delegates in addition to our board members. We usually try to distribute these across units and caucuses, so volunteering does not necessarily mean you will be a delegate. However, we will try to honor the order of sign up where we can.
DA will be held in person at the Delta Hotel in Northeast Minneapolis March 26-28. If you cannot make the entire time, let us know. Priority will be given to those who are able to attend the entire assembly.
Submit a Resolution
It all begins with an idea. Think about what you would like to see in the contract and if you would like us to have goals for lobbying or for the IFO in general. While any two delegates can submit a resolution, resolutions with more backing are more likely to pass. Resolutions submitted here will be discussed by council at our special Delegate Assembly meeting. To be endorsed by council resolutions are due to the FA February 18th
